Current and former residents alike flocked to Manchester exhibit at Kentucky State Fair
The City of Manchester booth at the fair was well attended as these photos show. At times the lines were long as fair-goers waited to compete for prizes at the wheel of fortune. In photo at right former Manchester residents Steve and Miriam Hensley, of Louisville, visit with exibit volunteer Mike White. Insert photo is of John Michael Asher, grandson of former Manchester resident, Harry Asher. Below Michael is City Councilman Harvey Hensley and his wife, Louise. Below the Hensleys Manchester pastor and exhibit volunteer Ken Bowling is shown working the crowd at the booth. The other photos show that there were plenty to work.
